28.10.2008 - 03.11.2008 OREYA take part in World Showcase and Marketplace for choral singing Polyfollia (polyfollia.org). Polyfollia festival is dedicated to promote international choral music in its various aspects, and notably, on odd years, as the World Showcase and Marketplace for choral singing, in connection with the IFCM (see: www.polyfollia.org). OREYA, has been selected by the Polyfollia Watchers’ Committee among 50 other international choirs to be part of festival. This major event of the world choral stage wild be hold in Saint-Lô (county of La Manche – 300 km W of Paris) and in 18 cities of the region of Basse-Normandie. It will showcase 12 outstanding professional ensembles worldwide selected (including OREYA) and 2 “exemplary “ youth ensembles in front of a large audience (12 500 in 2006), and musical promoters and organizers from all the world (40 from 16 countries in 2006, 50 invited by the festival in 2008). |
